Every 4^th of July Houston turns into a huge patriotic city with its official 4^th of July event—the Southwest Airlines Freedom Over Texas. As the #1 4^th of July celebration in the City of Houston, this is an event you won’t want to miss.

Houston will boom with the red, white and blue spirit as Freedom Over Texas opens the stage to diverse music. Artists Billy Currington and Sara Evans will headline the patriotic celebration as well as other local artists in an attempt to bring the community together to celebrate the freedom we, as Americans, love about this country.
